Burwood Renovation

Scope of Works – A New Home Within

Shawn and Belinda wanted to renovate their three-bedroom Burwood home. They looked at moving but couldn’t find a home in the area with a section that compared. In love with their ample outdoor living, they decided to stay put and update their space. They wanted to refresh their home with a new kitchen, laundry, and a larger bedroom – all without extending the house’s footprint.

Challenges – Thinking Inside The Box

With clear wants and the need for a bigger space, creating a larger home within the same footprint was the kind of challenge we love. It was also important to keep costs within the budget. Shawn and Belinda decided to use empty space and extended one of their bedrooms into their double garage. By working with the designer early on they knew and committed to their options making this Burwood renovation a breeze.

Outcome – A Home That Ticks All The Boxes

Shawn and Belinda instantly fell in love with their modernised home. The black and white base paired with warm timber accents and soft colours throughout creates an effortless industrial-chic design, as bold as it is beautiful. The home now has all the space the family needs. This renovation is a perfect example of how, with a little change and creative solutions, a space can be reinvented into a stunning ‘new’ home that ticks all the boxes.

The new kitchen is so much more spacious and modern. We love it, we just love it.
