Scope of Works

To build a high specification home for retirees to enjoy their retirement home, without the hassle of city living. The clients wanted to enjoy indoor and outdoor living with low maintenance garden.

Challenges

Creating an outdoor living space that withstood the local weather conditions, the clients were adamant they wanted to be able to enjoy the back of their house in the evening without being blown around by the wind. There was also challenge was also working within their budget, due to their diminished future earning capacity they had a finite budget and wanted to ensure beautifully appointed fittings throughout.

Highlights

Crafting a beautiful undercover portico with heating that protected from the cold easterly wind and the blustering nor-wester. The portico allowed generous seating area and even room for a BBQ. The completed kitchen was quite beautiful with the lovely charcoal tiles paired with a concrete coloured corian benchtop, who wouldn’t want to cook all day long? The bathrooms also beautifully appointed, both ensuite and main bathroom were finished with generous tiled showers and underfloor heating. The clients were thrilled with the finished product, which made the whole process well worth it.

We love the house, everything in it and about it. It makes everything worth the wait to get what we wanted.
